This hilarious show must be one of the funniest in the junior repertoire. Malcolm Sircom's renowned wit and humour is at its most inspired in this adventure that turns fairy tale conventions on their head and inside out.

Seven strong and eccentric characters drive the story along with the help of a Music Hall-style Narrator.- who relates his links to school activities.

Characters include an aristocratic French frog, a bumbling dragon, a wicked Queen and her suave butler, and evil Witch with her Mafia cat, and a feisty heroine. There are plenty of Chorus speaking parts, and the tuneful and witty musical score ranges from rock to tango to ballad, and finishes with a sublime send-up of You'll Never Walk Alone [football scarves are optional!]

This laugh-a-minute, feel-good extravaganza is bound to send your audiences out amazed and happy - and the cast and staff are in for a treat in the production of it.

Running time is approximately 50 minutes - though audience laughter and reaction may well extend it!
