Baron Frankenstein's descendant, and ex-pop star turned professor of Genetics, creates DNA moulds of people in his computer. How these moulds come to life as the ultimate Rock Group, headed by a clone of Elvis himself, is the highlight of the hilarious plot.
More traditional monsters also add spice to the explosive mixture. Staff, cast and audience will love the Rock 'n' Roll score, much of which is an affectionate send-up of the 60's. With some 20 principal parts including many splendid female roles, there is also plenty of chorus opportunity for maximum pupil participation. Schools with a good Rock Band will want them to get in on the act.
The CD of backing tracks is strongly recommended for rehearsal and / or performance.
From the writer of the hit shows 'Ebenezer' and 'The Dracula Rock Show'.

Malcolm Sircom
Malcolm read music at Cambridge University before entering the theatre as a Musical Director. Probably the highlight of his career was a 4 year world tour of the 'Rocky Horror Show'. At the same time he honed in his writing skills with a series of Pantomimes and Children's musicals, which were performed professionally all over the country including his hit 'Mr Men Musical' in London's West End.He started writing schools musicals with 'Ebenezer', which coincided with the launching of Musicline. Since then his many follow-ups have been so successful worldwide that they enabled him to retire from the theatre to concentrate solely on this aspect of his talents.
His major hobbies were bridge, cricket, and writing musicals for schools! People have often asked him if he is a teacher, as his shows have such a rapport with kids. He answered no - just an entertainer pure and simple, backed by the experience of years in the professional theatre.

Really good and funny play!
I had the lead role as Fenton, and I really enjoyed acting it out and watching the other actors perform. The audience found the play exciting and enjoyed the corny jokes and storyline. It was a really good and funny play! Highly recommended.

Funniest play I've staged!
The funniest play Ive staged in a primary school. Real coffins and a touch of dry ice worked their magic! Elvis went down a storm as did pink wigs for the superbs!

Definitely worth doing!
We performed The Rocky Monster Show with an exceptional year 6 group last year and it was a WONDERFUL experience! It was especially perfect for the more quirky members of our class and it is definitely worth doing!!!
