This show has been written specifically with Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage One teaching staff members in mind to save time, effort and anxiety!
Knowing how busy the end of the Autumn Term can be, and the huge demands placed on Teachers to produce a Christmas Production at the end of the first term of the school year, this show has been created to ease the pressure and be able to produce a very simple, but effective, production that both children, and their parents' alike, will really enjoy and help them to understand and remember the fun of Christmas celebrations during the festive season.
The script is secular and has been created for schools to produce a non-religious celebration of Christmas. It has very few spoken lines; the impact being created by delightful songs, actions and simple dance moves that the whole cast can be part of.

This lively Christmas show is divided into twelve narrated sections, with each scene giving us a glimpse into Santa's preparations at the North Pole in readiness for Christmas Eve, when he delivers wonderful presents on his special sleigh.
Scene One - Narrator 1
The show opens with Narrator 1 welcoming all of the audience (guests) to the outside of Santa's workshop at the North Pole. This is followed by the song Happy As Happy Can Be, which sets the tone of excitement, expectation and fun in the lead-up to Christmas.
Scene Two - Narrator 2
In this scene, we are introduced to the Frosties, who are making it very cold, indicating that Christmas is on its way! They dance around, freezing their surroundings as they sing the song Frosties.
Scene Three - Narrator 3
Remaining outside Santa's workshop, we are introduced to the wonderfully attired Snowmen, who appear to be holding a competition to see who is the best dressed. This is illustrated by them singing the song Best Dressed Snowman and 'showing off' their impressive clothes.
Scene Four - Narrator 4
The Frosties and Rudolph are playing outside in the freezing cold, which causes Rudolph to catch a cold and exaggerates his red nose. The Frosties and the Cast share their sympathy with Rudolph by singing the song Poor Old Rudolph.
Scene Five - Narrator 5
Mrs Claus sees that Rudolph is poorly and comes to take him into the Reindeer stable to begin warming him up and nursing him back to health with a lovely mug of hot chocolate and a mince pie.
Scene Six - Narrator 6
We join the other Reindeer inside their stable. The Fairies are grooming them and making them very smart so that they will be ready to pull Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. The Cast and the Fairies sing the song Lovely Reindeer as they work to make the Reindeer 'so smart!'.
Scene Seven - Narrator 7
We now go and join the Elves inside Santa's Workshop, where they are busy making lots of toys for little girls and boys! They work hard together with their hammers to make sure all the toys are ready in time to be delivered on Christmas Eve. They sing the song Christmas Factory as they work, together with the Cast.
Scene Eight - Narrator 8
When the toys are all made, the Elves and Fairies sprinkle them with magic dust so that they come to life and dance around happily to the song Toys, Toys, Toys, knowing that they will be going to children who will love them.
Scene Nine - Narrator 9
Santa rewards the Elves and Fairies for the brilliant job they have done by inviting them to decorate the Christmas Tree to the song Make It A Beautiful Christmas.
Scene Ten - Narrator 10
Santa is ready! He invites all of the toys to hop into his sack, ready to be loaded onto his sleigh and delivered. The Fairies all help Santa by packing the toys into his sack.
Scene Eleven - Narrator 11
Here, Santa's sack is loaded onto the sleigh, accompanied by the song Santa's Sack, sung by the Fairies and the whole Cast.
Scene Twelve - Narrator 12
Finally, everything is ready for Christmas Eve and the audience (guests) are thanked for joining Santa and all his helpers at the North Pole. The only thing remaining is to wish everyone a 'Very Merry Christmas', which is done through the song Merry, Merry Christmas, sung by the entire Cast.
Easy Peasy Flexible Casting
The script is VERY flexible and allows for a very small cast (e.g. Class size) or, alternatively, a much larger one (e.g. Year Group or Key Stage size), depending on the size of your school and how you wish to present the show.

"We absolutely loved Easy Peasy Christmas! It really was as easy to put together as promised, which was a lifesaver at such a busy time of year. There was very little dialogue for the children to learn and the songs and actions were so simple and catchy that even our youngest children joined in confidently. The children loved being Frosties, snowmen, reindeer, elves and toys, and the whole thing looked so much more impressive than the amount of rehearsal we actually put into it!
